- 05-07-2010 -IMPORTANT NOTICE FROM COLORADO REAL ESTATE COMMISSION Please be advised that the Division of Real Estate has implemented new requirements for sitting for the Colorado Real Estate Broker’s exam. Effective immediately, any candidate that wishes to sit for the exam will be required to complete the attached affidavit before being allowed to sit for the exam. Effective August 1, 2010, all candidates must bring a copy of their eligibility certificate or REC_33 to support the choice selected in the attached affidavit. Candidates that do not bring this certificate with them after August 1 will be refused admittance to the exam site. There are no refunds for cancelled exams, so it is very important that the candidate be provided with this certificate, and that they remember to bring the certificate with them to the exam site. PSI has been instructed not to collect the certificates so that the candidate may include the certificate with their application for licensure. The affidavits will be provided to the Division upon request for verification purposes. As you can see from the affidavit, if a candidate provides inaccurate information, it will be considered a violation of commission rules A_2 and A_3 and could result in disciplinary action or the denial of licensure.
